The idea of Dead Fly Collective is to pool the various skillsets my friends and I have, and channel them towards a common goal. The goal is ultimately to be able to create many art projects and experiences in many different mediums and to be able to earn money them. Ollie and I both share skills in music creation video creation, and graphic design. Jake also makes music and has experience putting on events. Events may be where we have to start to generate some capital. The idea ultimately, though, is to be able to sponsor other artists and act as a multimedia creative agency that helps artists realise their projects. In return, we would take a cut of their earnings. In this way, we would be helping create things we care about and also earning a living while doing it.
Central to this plan working is the collaboration. The idea is that together, we can create something greater than the sum of its parts.
